    Paulie talked trash about Al Haymon for years, saying his fighters got gift decisions and portraying him as a gangster.

    Then Haymon offers him a contract, Paulie falls for it, then gets Paulie a gift decision in Brooklyn and then puts Paulie in the ring with a guy whose style is all wrong for him.

    Shawn Porter vs Paul Malignaggi style-wise was like Mike Tyson vs Michael Spinks. Paulie just did not have a chance. It was obvious that it would be a brutal KO.

    Al Haymon = Vindictive Snake :deal

    Dont know if it was about him talking trash but i remember thinking at thetime why is putting him in with porter like a really bad style match, haymon definetly had porters interests and just used malignaggi

    I was thinkin the same thing when that fight got announced. Haymon is the new boxing mafia!

    Also, the only guy to sign with Al Haymon and then leave him is Andre Dirrell. Look where Dirrell is now!

    paulie signed the contract. no one put a gun to his head. i bet he made more money than he's ever made before. also...he beat cano straight up. that was no gift.

    Yeah but the thing is that Paulie used to always say that Haymon gets his fighters wins etc he must of felt that haymon had his back an felt he would win when it was clearly the opposite way around and haymon knew rightly

    paulie knows how the business works. he was just hurt to be on the b side. he got some good wins to put him on the A side before his career was over. good for him. dibella wasn't getting it done.

    cano did have his moments...unfortunately, boxing is scored round by round...he didn't win enough of them to win the fight.

    Paulie didn't get a gift against zab although I did think broner got a gift against Paulie. And porter got a gift when Paulie signed to fight Paulie.
