This is what it means to some fans for a fighter to be considered a 'crafty vet.'

Incessant cheating, and dishonorable methods of operation.

What ever happened to playing by the rules for the sake of sportsmanship?

And some of the people on this board will try to justify this abhorrent behavior by saying that Lomachenko should have just fouled him right back.

    lmao ****** fans

    A loss isn't a just a loss.

If Salido walked into the ring with a baseball bat and broke both of Lomachenko's legs and the referee declared it a TKO win for Salido, would that be considered legitimate in your eyes just because of what some asinine record says?

Low blows didnt bother me as much as weight did. I give him a lot less credit then he would have gotten for a "fair fight". Essentially we got to see what Loma's cap is... like watching Mayweather fight GGG or something.

Mares vs. Agbeko I and Mares vs. Moreno were far worse. This is on the level of Mares vs. Agbeko II and Mares vs. Darchinyan.

As far as recent fights go, it still wasn't on the level of Maidana's dirtiness in Mayweather vs. Maidana.

Dirty though, no doubt. I would seem agenda driven not to acknowledge this and it is especially significant due to the fight being very close.

I think Salido rightfully go the nod because it is up to the ref to punish with points, nobody else can do that. And even evident in this "lowlight" video, Salido is landing a lot of legal blows in there during the combinations and with the pressure too.

Evidently enforcing the rules and common courtesy flies out the window when you have an agenda against a particular fighter.

    Scumbagery at it's finest...

It's a shame the guy had to get hung with his 1st loss in that fashion.

But to me, you're on the money with the idea that Lomachenko could, and should have done something about it. Same way that Collazzo should have done something earlier with Khan taking up residence on his neck, and Agbeko should have done something when Mares took up residence in his trunks.

It is a fight in there, and whether they are intentional or accidental fouls, they do serve to afford a tactical advantage, and if the ref doesn't do something about it, and a guy allows himself to be victimized without asserting his own will into the equation, then he will always end up on the losing end of that equation.

This is the most ignorant comment I've seen here in a while.

At last count there has been over 200 world champs of Mexican descent(not to mention countless other Latino champs); name just 10(5% of 200) Mexican champions who are universally considered "diry" boxers!

or you're simply just talking out your ass!:deal

Lomancheko didnt deserve to be in the ring fighting for a world title in just his 2nd pro fight.

Boxing politics taught him a lesson.

and were do you get this moronic assumption that Mexicans are "peasants"??

Mexicans are far more advanced than you ricans?

Tito was a coward that had to foul Vargas with a low blow, because Tito was dropped and hurt by Vargas.

    Here's a pic:

Tito is a cheat, a coward.
