That's how you go about your business. Broke Cruz down over 10 rounds and the fight probably should've been stopped. This is what you want to see from a prospect. He fought with dignity; didn't fight like a clown showboating. He didn't let his foot off the gas pedal and kept breaking Cruz down. Didn't coast at all. It was an excellent performance from one of the up-and-coming prospects in the game. And he makes an already deep division even deeper.

Poor Cruz, had no chance. Corner should of stopped it earlier.

I wish I could see Spence use more foot work, it would provide him better angles and probably could of finished Cruz off.

He is very talented though. Will be great.

Spence is claiming on twitter he asked for 8oz gloves for the fight but the request went denied... Weird

Good point, he could have step off to the side a little and caught Cruz with some shots he won't see coming.

Overall, Spence met his test and aced the hell out of it

Spence was the house fighter, his opponent was there to lose the fight and make Spence look good. It was not even a good sparring session. It's time they stop showing sparring sessions on TV...............
