Would Muhammad Ali Have Parkinson's If He Retired After The Foreman Fight?

    In my opinion, Ali should have retired after the Foreman fight. Everybody thought that Ali had no chance against Foreman. However, he proved him wrong and then knocked Foreman out. If Ali retired after the Foreman fight I don't think he would have gotten Parkinson's. The reason why is because after that he fought against Spinks and Holmes. He should have left after that Foreman fight. I think he would atleast be a good Boxing promoter and color commentator. Plus Ali could have got into Acting and Broadway. So, what do you guys think?

    His health declined when he fought Trevor Berbick. In 1974 his speech was still great.

    I dont know much about Parkinsons...is it a hereditary thing or something that can be caused by not taking care of the body or is it a combination?

    I'm neither and I make threads to learn more about Boxing. Before I started back watching in 2012 I didn't watch it since I was a kid. I just wanted to interact with other boxing fans for history and etc. Keep your negative comments to yourself dude.

    To answer the question, he would likely have manifested the symptoms of Parkinson's syndrome at some point. Probably not as quickly as he did, but certainly it would have become apparent a few years after his retirement.
