What else was he going to say? Pretty tame interview where nothing he said was really that outrageous.

Might be the first G fight to go the distance in a long time?

I agree with you, I think Geale will fight a very intelligent fight, he can be slick when he wants to, he has great stamina he could definitely pull off a Herrera Algieri like performance.
In fact I'm not writing off Geale for the win, he fought the Barker fight wrong because he didn't fear Darren's power and left himself open to being outworked, he will probably fight far more cautiously in this fight.

Not by me, I think Geale is very underrated, so if GGG beats him I'll give him credit.
Macklin hadn't fought in a year after 2 tough fights with Sturm and Martinez, it wasn't Macklin at his best. I think Stevens was a far better win.

Their used to be more Mongealeoids(Geale fans) around here. I cannot help but wonder where they went? Their carers are probably restricting their Internet access due to Geales inveitable loss.

except garcia and provo can't cut off the ring and set up their shots like triple G can. and if geale stands in front of him he's going to end up like ishida.

I said he Could not he Will, fight like Herrera or Algieri.

He will hopefully fight more cautiously than with Barker, as in not stand in front of GGG and get punched.

I said I'm not writing him off, Not he will absolutely win.
I wouldn't say this is the most ringing endorsement, I think if he fights the most elusive fight of his life he may survive or take a close points victory, but I'm not willing to bet any money on it.

    who cares
the man went to Germany twice, won twice, avenged his loss to mundine, got prime US network coverage for the barker fight in the US, and now he's taking on the MW with the most notoriety who many believe will be the next MW king

    nothing but respect

Yeah - Geale has fair claim to be the number 3 or 4 MW in the world and even his 2 losses have been tight SDs. Guy's never been stopped - I'm really not sure there's anyone who'd be a more accomplished opponent at 160 for GGG.

Quillin, Soliman and Cotto would all be desirable fights of course, but I would give him a very decent chance against any of them.

I'm expecting Golovkin to win - probably by mid-late stoppage, but this should be his toughest test to date.
