I see so many of you jumped on the crawford bandwagon, now tonight you're gonna fall off and say things like "well who did he really beat?". There are levels in boxing and gamboa is elite, crawford is good but not proven at an elite level. I will not be shocked at all if this is an early K.O for gamboa.

I just can't pick a guy who has fought only twice above Featherweight, only twice in over two years, had a PED scandal in between, and a guy who I always thought had glaring deficiencies. I'm not completely sold that Crawford is the guy to do it, but I'm even less sold in picking Gamboa to go to his home town and beat him, honestly.

yuri, the guy is flawless when it comes to distance. he's on a whole nother level than crawfish. crawfish showed me nothing special in the Burns fight other than that awesome back-flip he did at the end. This fight is a given come on guys use your minds please.

yes, it amazes me how people were hyping up Burns even after he got beaten up in that draw before he lost.

May be I would agree, but Gamboa belly at weight in was bigger than mine. This is not the good shape

Even the fight before the draw, against Gonzalez where he forced a stoppage after being way down, it was apparent he had "blown his load" when looking at his career.

I will say, though, that the Burns who beat Rocky in a FOTY-type fight and then scooped up the couple quality scalps at 135, was underrated in how entertaining he was and deserving of praise for that combined with his decent enough competition (only ever spoken about negatively, which makes no sense).

Gamboa begin his career at 130 lbs, then moved down to 126 lbs.

Now he is fighting at 135 lbs which appears to be too high for him.

Also, Gamboa is too inactive. I think he hasn't fought in like a year.

Gamboa is a great talent who is poorly managed and promoted.
