will GGG and Canelo ever fight ?

Isn't he promised a massive amount of money every time he fights?
All things being equal, I do think Canelo would fight Golovkin.

 

eventually....but i think cotto-alvarez or floyd-alvarez 2 will happen first.

 

chavez got beat up bad in sparring by GGG they had to cut the sparing short.............chavez priced himself out of the GGG fight to get out of the bout........he knows GGG would beat him.................canelo will beat lara but will avoid GGG........

 

From what I have read about Canelo sparring GGG it was a competitive spar, believe there was a Ring article about it.

Canelo was only around 20 at the time, and yet to hit his prime.

Indeed. But he looked terrible in that fight. I won't argue about the rest u've said cause it's all subjective.

 

Yeah, there was no beating up done - that isn't really how they do business at the Summit apparently - though apparently Perro got beat up some when he tried to push it with GGG.

As pointed out though Nelo was 20 at the time and smaller than Golovkin - he's developing both physically and in terms of skill and fight experience.

Sooner or later Canelos gonna have to move up to 160 - he won't be able to sustain those 20lb dehydrations for many years and I think there's every chance he'll make a top MW when he reaches his prime.

I could see a Canelo - GGG fight down the line, but more likely later rather than sooner as Golovkin approaches the later stages of his career.

 

He does not have more power than GGG. He also doesn't have the experience GGG does. Many don't know GGG has an amateur background that was even better than Oscar's minus the gold medal, and easily better than Floyds. Guy had like 250 w's with like 4 losses and silver medal I believe it was. The man knows how to box, he would take Canelo apart.
