I know. It's probably the most overused incorrect statement in boxing. "Floyd has trouble against Southpaws" He's more active against SouthPaws. http://www.gfycat.com/ShowySparseErne
You can take Floyd to the ropes sometimes cause he moves straight back in his Philly shell, sometimes inviting his opponent in so he can counter. Hopkins almost never does this. He likes to maintain proper distance at all times (unless if he wants to initiate the action). His mastery of distance is what has enabled him to be so successful for so long. His uses his feet to dictate the action. I am not questioning whether Floyd has great footwork cause he obviously does. My only point was that their styles are not similiar.
Ah this is a game!! ok ill play !! Who is , Shane Mosley, Zab , Shamba mitchell, Corley , Corrales , Egustus, Nduo, Reggie sanders. hows that?
He seems OK, he's skilled. I'm actually more of a fan of Gamboa after that fight. But no, no way he can compete with Mayweather at this point in time.
He's not at the elite level and maybe never will be. With hard work and dedication, he may become p4p #1 in the future. The potential to be great is there but so many potentially great fighters have not reached their true potential.
