How does he come across as a *****? Kugan created a big buzz with his tweet which had people shouting Calzaghe, Lennox, Collins etc for it to turn out to be Rhodes. Obviously he wanted to announce it himself and in his own time, but the tweet pretty much forced his hand, hence this interview. There's obviously a lot of things that he can't let the hat come out the bag - I don't think he has his head in the clouds regarding this like you see from some fighters, think he comes across as fairly honest and realistic. Also I've met him previously, the man is anything but a ***** - far from it. A gentleman who makes time to talk with the fans is what I took away from being around him. I don't think Rhodes is going to shock the world with this comeback nor do amazing things, but looking into it he lost 2 of his last 13 fights.. one of which he took Canelo past 11 rounds and the other against the undefeated Rabchenko for the Euro strap.. hardly too shabby. His second to last fight he beat Khomitsky in the same fashion as world title contender Martin Murray, who more recently took Buglioni out. I don't think this is a comeback which is going to end in disaster, far from it. There's some good fights out there for Rhodes to be involved in, but after seeing how he looks after 2 or so outings we can gauge on just how well he can do.
Bruce Willis to play Rhodes, similar to his role in Pulp Fiction would like to see Rhodes v Eubank Jr.
Middleweight? Saw him in Glasgow .......... think he'll need to cut of his left arm and right leg to make middleweight.
He looks a bit silly now, the only buzz it created was fans thinking other fighters were coming back. As soon as people found out who it was nobody give a monkeys.
Good luck to him but he should stay retired, was quite clear in his last couple of fights he had nothing left, a shame that there's a promoter willing to make coin off him.
not impressed with Rhodes on this interview bit of a bully, and what weight for comeback maybe cruiserweight fat F**k sort your chins out
