Crawford couldn't have hurt Gamboa if Gamboa's management turned his eyebrows down

If that had happened this would've gone exactly like the Salido fight. It's just a shame about that. The management of this man has always hurt him in the ring. They keep telling him that Americans find Vulcans to be highly marketable so they always do that thing with his eyebrows and leave him vulnerable to headshots. You guys who have never boxed just don't understand what eyebrows do to punch resistance. Crawford can't hit and is not good. It was the eyebrows. Gamboa is the best fighter in the world if not for those eyebrows and Crawford just did what he had to do but is nothing special. I'm not making excuses for Gamboa or trying to take anything away from Crawford, mind. I just don't want people to get out of hand with this! As soon as Crawford fights somebody with a punch and correctly angled eyebrows he's DONE.

This is where you can seperate the real boxing experts from the mere fans, with details like this.

You think the average fan would have found a significant detail as this one? NOT!!! With them it's all blah... blah... glass... blah... blah... off the peds. But lucky for us mr. Ears schools them all again.
You want to know how important eyebrows are in boxing? Just ask Judah for an instance.

    YDKSAE man........

How do you explain Beibut Shumenov's unibrow?

I'm anxious to hear your response, but I'll bet you'll duck the question, much like Shumenov ducks the....... eyebrow........cutter.....person.

Come on, man. Crawford is a skilled technician. He's reading and making adjustments. He's figuring you out. He's like JMM in that he's vulnerable early, until he gets your number and once he does, he goes to work.

You can't come in loading up and flagrantly firing on a skilled technician or you'll be on the floor. Gamboa should have come in the early rounds with some of those big flurries that got him laid out. Doing it late against a skilled technician who has stamina is a horrible idea. Doing it late against skilled technician who has stamina without care for defense is suicide. Look at how calm Crawford is under fire and how he is thinking in real time while bullets are flying by, to find and take what's offered. Crawford is a skilled technician and definitely one of the most ambidextrous fighters in the sport. You'd be a fool to sell him short and think that it wasn't Crawford's skill that beat Gamboa.

Like I said earlier in the week, if Crawford made it out of the early rounds, he'd get the UD win or a late stoppage. This wasn't a hard matchup to analyze. Had Gamboa minded his defense more, it may have gone to a UD, but Crawford had Gamboa figured out by round 4 or 5 and he knew when Gamboa was coming in; he knew when Gamboa was throwing, and he had the check hooks and counters waiting.

So you're comprehension challenged? Perhaps English isn't your primary language?
