A weak division? Tysons era was no different than any other era and much better than the current crop of jokes. Guys like Pinklon Thomas and Tony Tucker were above the likes of Arreola and Stiverne.

A crackhead version of Tucker also went the distance with a Prime Lewis.

An even older Frank Bruno managed to give Lewis a run for his money (much better than Vitali did many years later)

Tony Tubbs beat Riddick Bowe according to a lot of people and up until recently, was a chief sparring partner for the Klitsckos

Tyrell Biggs also schooled Bowe

Trevor Berbick fought for another 14 years, no one ever stopped him after Tyson.

Larry Holmes boxed into his 50s and nobody ever came close to stopping him. He also schooled a prime Ray Mercer much more convincgly than Lewis and he also gave a good account of himself against Mcall and wasnt kod like Lewis was.

GTFOH, Its well known that Tyson had become lazy and overconfident and turned up in Tokyo with very little training beleiving Douglas would be a pushover. Douglas fought the fight of his life against a poorly trained, poorly motivated Tyson and Tyson still nearly knocked him out.

Why didnt Douglas give Tyson the rematch then, even though Tyson literally begged him to his face?
