Wow, you and Azzer85 better not have a date night watching old tapes of Tyson knockin over bums....it could get messy :rofl.
KID YOU ARE VERY YOUNG I SUPPOSE. IT WAS DIFFERENT TIMES. THERE WAS TIME WHEN NO ONE WAS NEAR HIM. SAME AS WITH MUHAMMED ALI, FEDOR EMELIYANENKO OR ROY JONES. BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE FLOYD, HOPKINS LIKE STYLE, SCARED TO EXCHANGE AND NOT GOING FORWARD YOU CAN STAY FOREVER. BUT YOU WILL BE ANTI-HERO FOR HUMANITY. But does it matter as soon as you have money? :hey
Yes, way past his prime and over the hill. I believe he may have been as old as 23 or even 24 when that happened. No fighter should be expected to be great that late into there career.:rofl
Funny, once again, you've avoided the points i put directly to you to answer on the previous page. Answer my points or get off this thread Keep mentioning my name and when i call you out, then you keep ducking me :hi:
Tyson destroyed champs, man, before breakfast, and at a stage when many young adults are still completing their educations. klittards must be, who think that getting koed in 2 by a 37 year old retiree is greater, when its the POLAR OPPOSITE of what Tyson did.
You really havent got a clue have you? Between them Tyson and Lewis kod Bruno, Ruddock, Botha, Golota, Biggs and neither of them Kod Tucker or Holyfield. Lewis Kod Ruddock in 2, AFTER Ruddock had the **** beaten out of him for 19 rounds by Mike Tyson, you seem to miss that point out. Does Haglers win over Mugabe not count because Terry Norris knocked out Mugabe quicker?
Madmanc is a spastic i think and Dan45 whatever his name is, keeps ducking the points i put to him. He spouts the same crap on every thread and then tucks his tail and runs when he gets found out. Some of his gems include 'Ray Mercer easily could have replicated what Tyson did, Tyson was nothing special' 'Ray Mercers win over Morrison is just as good as any of Tysons best wins' 'Tyson was still young and 27 when the much older Holyfield kicked his ass (Tyson born in '66, fought Holyfield in '96, theres is a 4 year age difference between them) Legend.
In a time were LHW were HW champs, Iron Mike brought power KO to a weak division and defeated guys that were defeated before they entered the ring creating a aura of invisibility... Once Tyson faced someone determined to be as committed as him... It was all over for him...Tyson could have fought Buster in the condition an metal attitude he ( Buster) was for the fight 10 times and 10 time he would have gotten KO...
How many LHW have been HW champs? Michael Spinks was no ordinary LHW. You think Kovalev or Stevenson could move up and beat 38 year old Wladmir? A weak division? Tysons era was no different than any other era and much better than the current crop of jokes. Guys like Pinklon Thomas and Tony Tucker were above the likes of Arreola and Stiverne. A crackhead version of Tucker also went the distance with a Prime Lewis. An even older Frank Bruno managed to give Lewis a run for his money (much better than Vitali did many years later) Tony Tubbs beat Riddick Bowe according to a lot of people and up until recently, was a chief sparring partner for the Klitsckos Tyrell Biggs also schooled Bowe Trevor Berbick fought for another 14 years, no one ever stopped him after Tyson. Larry Holmes boxed into his 50s and nobody ever came close to stopping him. He also schooled a prime Ray Mercer much more convincgly than Lewis and he also gave a good account of himself against Mcall and wasnt kod like Lewis was. Alex Stewart gave hell to Foreman, Holyfield and Moorer, Tyson disposed of him in a single round Yep, if these guys were bums, then so were the guys who struggled with them, Tyson didnt struggle with them, he simply demolished all of these guys. GTFOH, Its well known that Tyson had become lazy and overconfident and turned up in Tokyo with very little training beleiving Douglas would be a pushover. Douglas fought the fight of his life against a poorly trained, poorly motivated Tyson and Tyson still nearly knocked him out. Why didnt Douglas give Tyson the rematch then, even though Tyson literally begged him to his face? Oh look, hes from Ohio, you sure you're not related to Buster Douglas?
who did mugabi beat ? hagler was a step up for him and he failed as he did with norris, and yes norris was a more clinical finisher than hagler to answer your question, hagler was more of a grinder than a ko artist, sure he could punch but not noted as a massive puncher
mercer would have beaten tyson and would have been very successful against tysons era at the top,if not who of tysons oponents do u think beats mercer ? the holmes that did beat mercer even tho older was better than the holmes tyson faced as he prepared well for them and mercer just had a really bad off night imo
