    Have to love the British logic, they never seem to put Collins first despite two wins apiece against Benn and Eubank. Claiming both fighters were in decline and yet will turn around and say Lennox Lewis is best HW for beating Tyson and Holyfield.

    This is what is missing from Western boxing ( UK and North America ) today in the middle to upper weight divisions. Decent fighters sometimes ranked in the top ten, being matched against each other.

    Not many Brits would rate Lennox over Tyson or Holyfield. They'd need their heads examined for a start.

    Bowe was better than Lennox.

    Don't call him Lewis. That's disrespectful to Ted Kid, a far, far greater fighter.

    I actually think Graham would struggle with Collins, to keep him off. And Collins had an awkward punching style, ala Maidana v Mayweather.

    The Uk does not have a heavyweight I would give a realistic chance with Wlad, and I think Stiverne beats whom we do have. The US hasnt got a proven heavy of class.

    Wilder v Fury might be entertaining?

    Our LHVY's have both been exposed at world level and moved up to Cruiser.
    We do well at Super Middle but Ward is clearly the best there.

    Our middles are not good enough to beat GGG.The US doesnt really have much at 160lbs either.
    No quality ,no competition.

    Been doing a lot of reading about Eubank, Benn and that period and it's interesting that many rate Eubank and Benn below Watson and and Graham but Eubank did defeat Watson. That being said, for whatever reason, he never fought a Toney, Jones, Nunn, McCallum or a Kalambay .. he clearly did not want those guys and was able to avoid them .. still, I find the whole British middleweight era of that period quite interesting ..

    At super middleweight :

    Steve Collins, Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank inseparable, EQUAL

    I can't rate the other two as 168ers.

    It's the Herol Graham school of boxing actually.
    Herol brought that style to the Ingle gym and all the younger kids wanted to copy him.

    In terms of talent:

    Watson, Graham, Eubank, Collins, Benn

    In terms of accomplishments

    Eubank, Benn, Collins, Watson, Graham

    They didn't seem to want to fight the top americans, or maybe the promoters didn't want to.

    I give Benn credit for fighting Barkley.

    I feel like Eubank was rather protected.

    As far as middleweight division goes, I think Mike McCallum is a fairly good starting barometer to measure these Brits against one another.

    Herol Graham only narrowly lost to McCallum.
    Steve Collins went the distance and put up a decent fight.
    Michael Watson put up a decent fight but was stopped by McCallum.

    Chris Eubank was probably lucky to get the decision against Watson.
    Nigel Benn was stopped by Eubank and Watson.
