Was at the press conference today and took a walk round the Titanic and Olympic slipways. It really is breathtaking. The area where the 'arena' will be was the Paddock area for the start of the Giro d'Italia - it'll be interesting to see how exactly it's going to be set up.

Bueno Sueto, Txomo! If you know your history a whole Armada of Spanish ships sank off Ireland. :p

What about tickets for sale though...that's what I want to know....

I've read something about 50-90-125 euros tickets selling on next saturday, but... maybe are pounds? :think

About the "Armada Invencible"... touché. It was long time ago. You could give us Gibraltar back. :rofl

He's already beaten him once so not really a fight I'm interested in. Might make him a champion which is great but nothing else...still going to have to fight another World level opponent to prove himself.

IMO this fight is more exciting than the Mayweather-Maidana rematch. Kiko has koed 4 since they fought so this won't be a Walk-in-the-park for Carl (but yes, if he does not win again it would be a big upset)

Nobody can tell me anything about tickets at this end, not the titanic centre, ticketmaster, nada.

Presume you got that info in sunny Spain, Txomo?
Prices probably will be in las libras esterlinas.
I'd love to give you Gibraltar back...except I'm irish from the republic, so we don't have it! :good

Have you even been to, or even heard of "live at the Marquee" in cork every year? Well think of that , just 4 times as big....tons of scaffolding, acres of canvas, and ...hopefully...most important of all...hundreds and hundreds of portaloos....

I don't have any special insider knowledge or anything, but I just can't see any other way they can make it work. A 16,000 seater marquee...wow. If it's done right it can work, but no skimping...they will have to canvas over the entire floor of the "arena" as well as overhead etc. Big job, and let's hope the dodgy irish weather isn't a factor...looking forward to going too....:good

    got this reply from barry..

    ClassicBoxingSociety ‏@SocietyBoxing 23m
@ClonesCyclone will the venue for carl be totally enclosed with a roof...or will it be open-air with only the ring covered ?...thanks

    Barry McGuigan ‏@ClonesCyclone 13m
@SocietyBoxing It's outside only the ring and a section on the inner ringside will be covered. #boxing
