they might be equal, it's hard to tell.

my point, bradley was loading on every shot (rematch).

im betting, those shots were a lot harder than theftjr's normal pucnhes.

you need to stop pac on his tracks, if not hurt him, get him off his offensive rhytym.

i dont think either bradley or theftjr can do it.

bradley tried and it made gas after few rounds.

im basing it on the bradley fight.

ihe wasnt gun shy against bradley to me, jst being careful because bradley was loading on every shot.

i think the gun shy/rusty part was against rios, which is expected, considerign he was coming off a devastating ko and long layoff.

bradely rematch was a fairly high level performance by pac. no stamina issues unlike the first fight.

of course, its not the same as the 2008-10 pac, but still good enough.

theftjr has also regressed. more rests than necessary.

i jsut think the styles being a southpaw who is used to fighting orthodox favor pac.

Only this isn't 2009. And Pac doesn't throw 5 punch flurries every 5 seconds anymore. It says 2014 Floyd Vs 2014 Pac. Not 2009 Pac vs 2014 Floyd.

When was the last time you seen Pacquaio throw 5 punch combos like that? Pacquiao potshots more than ever now.

PAC will be lacking the most important thing, that maidana, Ortiz, and Oscar had when fighting Floyd that will trouble him and goes along with being a pressure fighter.

A weight advantage of at least 10 lbs

That, and Pac has the inside game of a 6 year old girl scout.

That's the main reason why this supposedly aggressive and relentless style that they think PAC will bring to the table will be ineffective against mayweather.

Mayweather is just too long and rangy of a fighter to let a shorter armed and smaller guy( weight wise - 160+) pressure him to the ropes

I think you have to be bigger than him to give him any kind of trouble. Because when he turns into the stalker and not the prey, he's more dangerous than ever.

He'd probably be MORE offensive against Pac because of the lack of a size disadvantage.

A motivated offensive Mayweather is him in his best form. In my opinion. Defense is second nature to him. That's always going to be there. But when he's offensive minded. With the speed, reach, reflexes, good power, accuracy, punch placement, This look on his face :)bart), he's hard to beat man. Harder than ever.

Absolutely correct, May will walk him down, put PAC on the defensive, and that's all she wrote.

Quick question piff. Is it really that hard to see that Floyd is just a level above Pac? Not talking contracts, the past, peds, none of that.

But from a vantage where we are analyzing skillsets, and the fighters themselves. Is it really that hard to see that while Pac is great, and a very fine fighter, he's just not up there with FMJ?

Is it that hard to see?

Not at all, mayweather has the refinement that a technician is supposed to have( different looks, wide array of shot selection, percision, no wasted movement) basically everything that makes someone a veteran in any sport.

The fact that he still has his speed and reflexes make him an extremely dangerous opponent.
