It is my understanding that Holland and Oregon(US) have legalized euthanasia.The Province of Quebec in Canada are currently considering this program as well. There comes a time in everyone's life where quality of living comes into play.I don't know whether or not this individual has the faculties to make such a decision,but I merely point out there are alternatives,as harsh as this may appear.

How exactly will he pay for assisted living or memory care facilities? Have you seen the cost of those places? On the average it is 2k a month, and that is someone that can basically take care of themselves... Someone like Gerald who would need tons of care, would be more than that.
I can't even begin to describe how much I agree with this. Monzon battered and killed his wife, yet I can't think of ONE single post I have seen in any Monzon related threads where people even bring that up or give him half the abuse that Gerald seems to get. I don't understand it in the slightest.
