He also says in no uncertain terms Billy Dib has no excuse to lose tonight. (with a good camp that Jackson saw firsthand, every advantage in the book, and having studied up on Garza). Meaning, lose and you're cut.

Billy Dib vs. Alberto Garza, 10 rounds @ lightweight

 

Round 1

Dib is tying up in the middle of the ring as Garza plugs away on the body. Dib lets go and circles out, flicking a skirt-blowing-in-the-wind jab from the hip and leaving it static as Garza runs in past it. Dib clinches at the last second. Dib is working uppercuts on the body of Garza, shouldering him into the ropes from a low stance. Chopping rights behind the neck by Garza. Dib is bending over to his right, lobbing in underhanded rights on the body and shooting both arms out around Garza's torso. Garza bears down on him with chopping rights and their heads come together repeatedly, Garza attempting to rain blows on Dib and Dib attempting to paint the body and tie up. Dib has swelling, and now small cuts. Garza causes another headbutt falling atop him, and lands an uppercut.

Round 2

Garza is jabbing into Dib's right wrist, pushing him physically back a step and disrupting his guard, looking to plant the cross on Dib's face. Dib is able to scout it and sidestep, jabbing arm held out straight to hold Garza off. Lots of tying up as Garza chops his way in, Dib hunkering down low in wait. The ref is breaking every 5-10 seconds. Dib advances with a jab feint in a stringy yo-yo motion as he gallops in sideways after Garza, then drives through with a right hand on Garza's upheld guard. Garza has turned southpaw and is slapping right hooks at Dib's body as Dib comes burrowing in.
