Garza is jumping in after Dib with his left jab, a bit ungainly on his feet. Dib is slipping punches leaning back, arms lowered to facilitate tying up and body shots (and sometimes low blows when on the far side of the ref). Dib lands a good right hand upon separation. Dib is jabbing the body and missing his right past Garza's throat rushing into him. Garza slaps at his back. Right jab and left uppercut by Garza in a sloppy exchange on the inside. Dib rushes in, eating a right jab on the mouth.

Garza is a real oddball fighter to watch.

Round 8

Dib is forking in low jabs and colliding with Garza on the follow-through, feet never ceasing to carry him forward. Flush left hook by Dib. Garza now ties up briefly. Garza is landing the right hand on the side of the head as Dib leans in low and ties up. Head clashes on the inside. Wide hooking right by Garza, countered by a short left hook from Dib while ducking. Wild flurry roaming vaguely in the direction of Garza's head from Dib while pressing in on his chest, pinning Garza onto the ropes, missing everything badly. Garza meanwhile is missing shots a good several inches past Dib's head trying to free himself. Counter right by Dib.

Round 9

Garza is dipping in past the Dib jab, pushing his out to disguise a right uppercut which does find Dib's chin. They clinch and push apart. Garza is diving in with hooks on the body, sailing past Dib in a crouch and ending up behind him, both staying under the jab and disallowing the clinch like a bull swerving clear of a toreador's blade. Garza is hitting the body as hard as he can in every clinch, as Dib is still initiating plenty. Garza turns southpaw and sticks a long jab on the body. Garza ducks low anticipating Dib rushing into him, and goes down from a body-check. Ruled a slip. Dib lands a short looping right as he runs Garza into the ropes. Clinch. Break. Right on the body and slap-hook flurry by Garza.

This is one ugly ass fight... both these guys are trash.

 

A new promoter, at least. :deal

 

The main event had better prove worth enduring this one! :!:

 

War Farenas

 

Round 10

Garza is jabbing in the right armpit, Dib wedging his fist in tight and immobilizing that arm. Garza chops with his left as Dib steers him into the ropes. Clinch. Break. Garza is leading with up-and-over teardrop rights on the cheek, grabbed as soon as he lands up close. Dib has a badly swollen right eye now. VERY low blow by Dib. Time in. 1-2 on th ebody by Dib. Garza lands a pair of overhands on the face. 1-2 by Dib rushing in again, Garza now bowing forward and countering with a wide left hook on the body. Dib flurries with an uppercut chasing Garza down. Garza first steps out, lining up a wide right on the body, then falls in, tying Dib up.

I could live with never seeing either of these guys in the ring ever again.

 

Shada Murdaugh did a decent job reffing this one, given the crap he needed to contend with.
