Farenas is looking for single left hand torpedoes, using the right jab only to set them up and feel out distance. Davis is circling both ways, stepping in to jab and then easing out in the Philly shell. Farenas ducks a right hand lead, telegraphed a little by Davis' barking. Farenas is caught by a drum-roll flurry while ducking in front of Davis. Farenas is sticking his right jab on the body from outside, lulling Davis. BIG left hand up top by Farenas, doubled up as Davis is caught in a standstill. Davis sits in the pocket and flashes out straight punches, buzzing Farenas with a right hand. Farenas lands a grazing jab on the cheek and misses a left cross downstairs as Davis moves away with the insoles of sneakers tilted and pushing off the canvas.

Round 4

Farenas is plowing Davis into a corner with southpaw 1-2s. Davis shimmies and slips for a moment, hit with a few shots. Davis circles out to center ring and now goes on the attack, hitting Farenas with his own straight combination and backing him into the ropes. Body shots by Farenas staying low. Davis counters with a quick uppercut. Davis ducks a jab and backs out, hands up high. Farenas pushes in and steeples his gloves with Davis'. Counter uppercut by Davis. Chopping left on the nose by Farenas. Davis ducks a lead left, moving to his own left. Another left hand lead by Farenas, short. Davis rows out a jab from outside, too short. Farenas misses a right hook from the same distance, and Davis throws away a left hook.
