    :good

Davis showed positive attributes tonight, but Farenas was proven the wrong style for him in such a big step up in class. When you consider that some were already whispering about it being stopped in the 5th and 6th, you have to be impressed that he lasted until the eighth (and made a nice if purposefully unexciting comeback in the seventh, winning it) showing chin, heart, and defensive instincts.

50 Cent is a shitty, clueless matchmaker and talent developer.

Garza was a terrible choice for Dib right now too.

Yeah, after Gamboa's cherry was popped Davis was supposed to be 50's last pocket ace. (in terms of a talented unbeaten flagship guy he could build up as face of the stable)

Davis was a very good amateur...but not everybody makes the jump well, and definitely not when brought along poorly and then rushed in over their head too fast. He got too comfortable mixing Iit up with the stiffs he was easily boxing circles around, lacking the pop to get away with it when faced with improved competition. (a lesson he could have learned with less devastating effect were he ever given a reasonable bridge from his soft opp. to Farenas)

Yeah, that match-up made no sense. At this point Dib needed a "decent" guy to fight, but a guy that could build his confidence back with... but no.. they matched him with a guy who likes to spoil and fights rough and dirty.

Stupid match-up, and sucked to watch too.

Happy Birthday, Fiddy!! Aside from Gamboa, it looks as if your best fighter is Billy Dib! (Ouch! That's gotta hurt!)

Is it just me or Mark Davis looks like the guy from the popular youtube video where this 67 year old Vietnam Vet whooped his azz inside the Bus and had him all bleeding and everything.
