Behind Floyd, who is TSBE (The Second Best Ever)?

It goes without question that Floyd is TBE (The Best Ever)

I know a lot of you don't want to admit this, but his record speaks for itself.

The real question is, who is the Second Best Ever at avoiding fights and/or stacking the deck in their favor against opponents (IE, Paying Maidana off for gloves, Paying Marquez off for coming in over the agreed weight, refusing to fight anywhere but his hometown, making extra stipulations, picking the referee, etc)?

I would have to say Andre Ward is TSBE. Only fighter that refused to travel for the Super Six tourney, most fights are in his home town of Oakland with this referee and judges, dragging Dawson down to 168 for their fight, trying to call out a small Middleweight in the division below him (GGG) when he was talking a few years ago about moving up to LHW.

It's a tough call, I guess. I mean, I was really having a difficult time thinking of a fighter with so many demands/stipulations other than Floyd, but none of them can even come close other than Ward.

That's what I mean. He's truly TBE for his ability to get Marquee names and put them at serious disadvantages to ensure his continued health and safety.

 

*****s love to praise Floyd for his "smart business" decisions, but in the same breath refuse to admit he's had the most risk-averse, carefully calculated career of any boxer in history.

So is he a fighter making smart business decisions to prolong his health and career or has he legitimately faced all the challengers on an even playing field? It can't be both *****S.

WHICH ONE IS IT, BRIAN KENNY?!? WHICH ONE IS IT??!?!

 

No question Pacquiao has made some ridiculous stipulations of his own in the last 5 years (hardly anyone remembers the dickering over the 50-50 split with Hatton), but he's nowhere near Floyd or Ward's level.

As an aside, has any other fighter in history refused to share PPV proceeds with his opponent?
