You can't say with any certainty, that had Manny accepted everything first hand, the fight would have happened.

You can't say that for two reasons.

    1. Manny backed down and agreed to the 14 days, but Floyd wouldn't budge and make the fight.

    2. We know what happened with the PPV debacle. Any guy, cheekily trying to negotiate for the entire PPV revenue, from the biggest grossing fight of all time, isn't at all serious about making the fight. That much should be obvious.

IMHO, if Manny had sat at the negotiating table like a nodding dog, agreeing to everything, Floyd still wouldn't have been satisfied.

I agree with a lot of what you've wrote.

No, there was nothing official, they were both negotiating through the media.

I've got to go to work now, so I can't really debate at the moment.

But just quickly, extensive blood testing would have been fine, had Floyd said that he wished all future opponents to be tested.

    Follow the timeline.

It's clear that initially Floyd had no issue with any testing.

His only concern initially, was that he wanted the bigger purse.

Then after Floyd Snr made his claims, Floyd wanted blood testing. But it was done in a way, that accused Manny of being dirty.

With regards to the cut off days, I'm sure random urine tests, and blood tests were enough, with a 24 day off cut off, that included an after fight test.

Whether you think Manny not agreeing made him guilty, depends on your perspective.

You could say one of two things.

    1. If he was innocent, why didn't he clear his name?

    2. If he was innocent, why should he have had to?

    Again, their egos are huge.

I'll try and come back another time, unless the thread's been moved. :good

Hey man, glad to debate with you. Take note *******s, this is the way you debate as a manny fan. Notice he provides facts & open questions for debate as well as examples of point of view from not just Manny's side but Floyd.

There is only one acceptable answer to the thread question given each of the two possible scenarios:

IF Pacquiao was not on PED's - YES

IF Pacquiao was on PED's - NO

    ...there is no other rationale.

Do you know what evidence and proof is? Evidence is in his performance, proof is a test coming back positive. If he had a positive test recent, they probably wouldn't even be negotiating.

    1. Pac didn't agree to anything until he was signed to fight someone else, so what good is it?

    2. They never got around to discussing PPV share. Floyd is quoted saying they didn't discuss it. Koncz is quoted saying Floyd said to discuss later and Koncz interpreted it as "no PPV share". That's why Manny said what he said.

Boxers fight, promoters sell fights and the commissions do the testing. Floyd should not have demanded the test, he should have gone to the commission if he really wanted to clean up the sport.

If you are Waren Buffett and think Bill Gates is too rich and you wanted to check if he's paying taxes correctly. Do you think Gates will give in? No, because Buffett is not the IRS. Pac refusing testing does not necessarily mean he's guilty.

Nice to debate with you too.

Although I have huge respect for Manny and Floyd as fighters, I'm not a fan of either guy.

    So I'm neither a ***** or a *******.

I'm going to leave it now, because I've discussed this subject to death over the past few years.

I'll look forward to debating with you on another topic. :good
