I like Cotto a lot but GGG would fuck him right up in my opinion.

Not a chance in hell and I don't even think GGG is that good. Cotto would struggle badly with Canelo... GGG KOs him easily. Cotto may outbox him, but it wouldn't matter. Nothing Cotto has would hurt GGG and GGG is a very powerful MW.

Cotto vs GGG would be huge in New York!! That fight should be made! However, assuming Triple G gets past Geale, who is talented, and doesn't get Cotto, who is next?

I heard james Kirkland turned down an offer is that true? And there seems to be a chance quillen will fight triple G. I'll beleive it when I see it.

I think you're severely underrating Cotto. Cotto outboxes Canelo in my opinion. Maybe even stops him late.

And to say that nothing Cotto has would hurt GGG is a bit of a stretch. A Cotto left hook flush on the temple could/would hurt him. GGG is a man, not a machine.

GGG would win. But late. GGG has crisp surgical power. Not frightening Tyson esque power. I could see Cotto squeaking out a decision on GGG. Like I said with Maravilla. Cotto is a step up for GGG, GGG wont be the best fighter Cotto has been in with.

True bouts Geale not being a "MUG" but the conclusion is nonetheless foregone!!!!

GGG stops him inside 5 rds.

Don't get me wrong, I think Cotto beats Canelo too... just not easily. The Sergio fight was a disgrace and it is clear he should not have been cleared to fight. Cotto is a much higher skilled fighter than Sergio...but a top shape Sergio beats Cotto.

Even if Cotto COULD hurt GGG he still would not be able to handle his power... no way. GGG would be walking him down by the end of the 2nd round. GGG is a high volume power puncher. You even said above that you don't think Roach would allow it... why is that? Because we both know that GGG beats that ass... badly.
