    Vote and discuss......

After a perfect pre-fight breakdown of Loma vs GRJ which can be found here:

    http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=510547 :D

.....and closely analysing several minutes of previous fights I am back yet again with another gem to serve the Boxing Community. :good

    power - canelo
    body punching - canelo
    chin - canelo
    combinations - canelo
    variety of combos - canelo
    Inside game - canelo
fighting on front foot - canelo :deal

    Hand speed - close
    Activity - even
    defense - ? :huh

fighting on back foot - lara
    stamina- lara
    timing - lara
    foot speed - lara
    stamina - lara
    boxing iq - lara
    confidence - lara
    style match-up - lara :deal

STAMINA will play a big role in this fight

Canelo does not have experience vs a top level southpaw :nono

Lara will be in the position to throw and land more than Canelo :bbb

Canelo will be fighting on the front foot but Lara will prefer this. The Cuban will try to keep off the ropes.

I will be continually adding to this post as the fight draws closer and I gather my thoughts.

Odds for Lara to win are at 8/5 :good Awaiting the lara via decision odds

Based on Canelo's "performance" against Mayweather, I would expect Lara, who's a harder puncher than Mayweather, to easily beat Canelo.

If Canelo walks through Lara, beats him down for 8 rounds and then stops him, this will verify to me, that Haymon did in fact give Canelo $5 MILLION DOLLARS to lose.

They probably promised Canelo a rematch down the road with Mayweather. I suspect that will be Mayweather's last fight; however, it would not surprise me if Mayweather found a way to weasel out of that fight through another pay off.

Considering how many times Mayweather has paid people off, it is highly likely he will continue to do it in the future.

I believe outside of the Marquez pay off of course, that after the Cotto fight, when Mayweather contemplated retirement because he was beaten up with regulation gloves, that he lost confidence and decided to invest in pay offs.

Tough fight to call. I could see Canelo tagging Lara pretty hard and putting him down, but not being skilled enough to land that punch. Plus, he's flat footed. I think Lara is going to bust him up pretty bad. The smart pick is Lara in my opinion.

I forgot to mention Trainers. The Great ronnie shields is in Lara's corner . He has trained Tyson , Holyfield and Whitaker. This is an advantage for erislandy.

You're so right. He paid Broner to lose against Maidana so he can have a soft touch. The whole boxing game is orchestrated by Floyd, everything except for Top Rank. Pacquiao is the greatest, the true champ! Floyd paid him to keep his PED secret and even paid Pacquiao's opponents to lose to him so they could piggy back off of each other's names and make millions! It's all a conspiracy!

FOOTWORK will play a big role also.

Lara also has the reah advantage.

I truly believe this is a bad style match up for canelo

But credit must go to the Mexican for taking the challenge and not wanting to fight for the paper belt

    There are no conspiracies.

    Let's break this all down.

Mayweather paid Marquez THAT MONEY!!! FACT!!!

Mayweather paid Pacquaio THAT MONEY!!! to keep his drug testing records hidden. FACT!!!!

Mayweather paid Maidana a RECORD AMOUNT of THAT MONEY!!! in order to prevent Maidana from fighting with NSAC approved gloves. FACT!!!!!

A trans***ual that had ***ual relations with Al Haymon stated that Canelo was paid a sum of no less than $5 Million to take it easy on Floyd.

This is alleged; however, if Canelo stomps Lara out...

    it will be

    VERIFIED.

Which means it will be a FACT!!!

It is a bad matchup for him stylistically, I don't think this will end well for him.

A very tough matchup for Canelo. I think he would have his best success against Lara if he worked Lara into the ropes and let his combinations go. But Canelo fancies himself a boxer and prefers to plant his feet in the middle of the ring and box. He almost never forces anyone to the ropes. Or if he finds his man there, he does not even try to keep him there. Sometimes he even puts himself on the ropes for no reason other than to show off his defense! And then of course his habit of landing a single right hand and then stepping back to admire his work! This guy must think he is the Mexican Ali. He might end up catching Lara that way eventually, but he'll lose rounds against the guy with better speed, reach and footwork.

The smart money will be on Lara. But I will be rooting for Canelo, hoping he can pull a rabbit out of a hat at some point in this fight.

I'm picking Lara by decision. I will be very shocked if Alvarez stops him.

Learn what FACT!!! means because you clearly have no clue. doesn't matter how boldly you say it and many exclamation marks you put after it it doesn't suddenly make it a fact no matter how much you wish it is.
