I took a real interest when I heard over gym grapevines this guy was something special, even besting Joshua in sparring apparently. Any news on whats happening with him?

He caught a glimpse of himself shadow boxing in the mirror, shat himself and ran away.

'The Devil' kickboxer faces two conspiracy to murder charges

A heavyweight champion kickboxer nicknamed 'The Devil' has been charged with conspiracy to murder.
James Stabler, from Burnham, had a preliminary hearing in front of Judge Zoe Smith at Reading Crown Court on Monday.
The 24-year-old appeared before the judge via videolink from Woodhill Prison in Milton Keynes, Bucks, where he is remanded on custody.
Stabler is charged with two counts of conspiracy to murder and a third count of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The GBH with intent relates to an incident on June 20 this year, while the two counts of conspiracy to murder are in relation to incidents between July 30 and August 10.
Police say the conspiracy charges follow a series of 'linked incidents' including a serious assault in Slough, a suspected arson attack in Slough, gunshots outside a house in High Wycombe and threats to a defendant in a courtroom.
Two other men had been arrested and released on police bail.
Alan Blake, from the Crown Prosecution Service, indicated there might be two separate trials as the GBH charge appears to be unrelated to the others. A trial, estimated to last three weeks, is not expected to take place until February next year.
Former Burnham Upper School pupil Stabler won the English heavyweight full-contact kickboxing title in 2007. The tattooed 6ft 4in fighter weighed in at 17st 4lb for the bout.

Can you elaborate? Many top fighters - Tyson for one have had plenty of issues outside the ring, still made good fighters. I read on an MMA forum James Thompson whos 6 feet 5 and 20stone say Stabler made him nervous. If a monster like Thompson is wary of you you must be handy to say the least.

I don't think that the BBBoC would license him, perhaps he will get a maltese or Luxembourg license? My memory is poor but I am sure that it was posted on here that that was his intention?
I have no idea if he is any good, all I have seen is a short clip of him doing some bagwork and a picture of him after sparring with Chisora who was all smiles.

James Thompson was an average MMA fighter. From what I've seen of Stabler in kickboxing he isn't much better, doubt he would get as far as a British Title in Boxing.

Additionally, psychopaths tend to make people nervous outside the ring, whether they can box or not is another thing completely. Bronson makes me nervous, but he wouldn't be a world champ.

William Wallace is 7 feet tall. Kills men by the hundreds. And if HE were here, he'd consume the English with fireballs from his eyes, and bolts of lightning from his arse

    Alba gu Brath!
