He is NOT a devastating puncher. He is NOT must-see t.v. any longer. He isn't even his own man (Arum controls him). He is NOT the draw that he once was.

Can't always guarantee KOs when you're continuously fighting top competition.

    :rofl

He has been fighting handpicked in house Arum fighters. He is basically relegated to fighting in Macau at this point.

Concreto's size and the new weight division Pacquiao was jumping to made it a serious fight. Clottey was coming off a 50/50 fight against Cotto who many believed was supposed to be the fighter Pacquiao fought when he aimed for Cotto. Pacquiao was coming off a brutal KO loss and a a year of inactivity when he fought Rios, overlooking that would be foolish. Mosley was indeed a joke fight, can't argue otherwise there.

How many of Mayweather's last 7 opponents weren't with Golden Boy?. You think Arum is the only promoter that keeps things in-house?

For me, he simply is no longer must-see tv. Boring isn't the word, but, more like I know what I'm going to get. I just no longer find him interesting to watch any longer.

I was just thinking about this yesterday when people were talking about Pacquiao vs Khan being a possibility. Pac could do with a KO.

Margarito hadn't look good in a long while. And was clearly on a severe decline, while Pac was at the peak of his powers. Held at 150 LB catchweight for a vacated belt, made it a joke fight. He didn't jump a new weight division, it was 3 pounds over the welterweight, Margarito wasn't even rated at Jr Middleweight, and Pac has been coming into the ring 147 since he was fighting at 135. That was a joke fight.

Clottey had no business in the ring with Pac. You know that, and I know that.

I understand Rios, he still could have at least fought Alvarado though. No reason he had to pick the loser of that fight.

    Mosley is self explanatory.

Bradley, Marquez, are the only truly solid fighters Pac has faced in the new decade.

Hes not the same as he was, but he is still must see as long as he fights younger competition. The torch needs to be passed and you know pack (if he isnt winning a fight) will go out on his shield.
If you dont think Pacquiao is must see in the sport of boxing you arent a fan....Thats like saying Gretzky wasnt "MUST SEE HOCKEY" because he was a few years over his prime. Hes a future hof...Get over it man.

Arum ONLY keeps it in house unless he is forced by a mandatory not to. He is a disgrace. Pacquiao's PPV numbers have been horrid hence why Arum is forced to take him to Macau now. GBP will at least work with other promotions.

Overlooking the size difference and the new weight division Pacquiao was jumping to is rather silly to be honest. Didn't Concreto look good against Cotto in the rematch following this fight despite losing?. Sure he was getting pummeled but he also stayed there throughout the entire fight and was landing his own. It was Pacquiao that fully damaged his eye and ended his career.

Yes he did jump to a new weight division, anything above 147 all the way to 154 is Light Middleweight. Overlooking that is also beyond silly.

No I don't know that, you're the one clearly hating and overlooking critical points to make your point across without using your head. Clottey was coming off a 50/50 fight against Cotto that many thought he won. How the hell doesn't that make him a legitimate opponent?. There were people literally crying at the time when Pacquiao picked Cotto instead of Clottey. It's your problem if you didn't exist back then, but I did and sure as hell remember it.

Alvarado was supposed to be his opponent but he couldn't take it due to surgery so they went for Rios instead. Again you're overlooking another point, BOTH OF THEM(Pacquiao and Rios) were coming off losses which makes things even despite Alvarado's inability to replace Rios.

Yet he remained #1 P4P when he fought the rest. Your disapproval and lack of appreciation changes nothing.

They were all solid opponents and the point was about KO's. All of those guys were very difficult to KO.
