I don't buy the haymon 5 million thing. What happened against trout then?

 

Canelo vs trout was even up until the knockdown, then Canelo gassed and ran. Did nothing to win a round after. If anything, trout was paid to keep it close and the say Canelo won. He prob got some cash under the table and promised another shot at the title.

 

Also what happened against Angulo and Mosley? Those guys were sparring and not throwing hard shots.

Lara needs to win at least 8 rounds to get this decision. No way will I bet on this fight.

 

Canelo has a good right hand and Lara is a southpaw with fragile jaw. That's all you need to know. Canelo will land the right hand and will hurt him and that will change the fight. Canelo by UD. Moreover if the fight is close it will always go to Canelo.

I would lean in favour of Lara, but Canelo is Oscar's golden child, and I doubt the judges would go in favour of the Cuban, even if he clearly wins, so most likely Canelo ends up with a decision with some degree of controvercy

 

Lara isn't going to be able to be on his toes the entire night. Canelo will be able to close distance and fight on the inside. Lara is not a good inside fighter as he just likes to keep his guard up and not throw punches when his opponent is in his chest for the most part. And Lara cannot fight off the back foot well. Lara will be in the fight for his ability to land the straight left, but, Canelo isn't that slow nor is he inaccurate. I think Canelo knocks him out in the late rounds.
