He's 49 years old anyway.....he can do what he wants

He doesn't get the respect he deserves

 

He will be 50 next year. I believe it was January. If he fights two more times then he will be 50 by the time he fights for the second time.

Remember how everyone was saying that Hopkins was scared of Dawson and how he was going to duck him? Remember how everyone said that he took the easy way out? Remember how he was called a coward because he would duck the rematch? :rofl

 

ATG fighter probably the best of this generation.

His resume shits all over any current fighter.

I think B-Hop still has enough in him to beat Stevenson, regarding Kovalev I don't think Hopkins will be able to handle Kovalevs style as he punches in combinations and will make Hopkins work.

 

Exactly. That's why Hopkins wont go near Kovalev in my opinion.

Probably even more important is that he's a very mobile puncher not some flat footed zombie like Cloud, Pavlik or Shumenov with his footwork but Hopkins wants you to believe that all "punchers" are unskilled cement feet that can't deal with the subtle angles and feinting he uses to not let them get set. Kovalev will throw a 6 punch combo while chasing him laterally as he tries retreating just look at the 1st Agnew knockdown.

 

A 49 year old who's unifying in the most dangerous sport is not someone that knows fear. Only keyboard trash would say otherwise out of jealousy and hate when they know they most likely won't even be alive at 49.
