I'm not sure who wins this one because Brook could end up being just as good as he's been hyped. I'm very glad this fight is happening though.

 

If he wins this fight then he's definitely world class and goes right up there with the current best in the sport.

 

There's a reason the guy is a 10 year pro and only now making the step up to world class. That in itself doesn't speak as to his ability. But where there's smoke there's usually fire.

I agree with you and Scar that the winner will ascend into welterweight royalty and become a legit, elite name in that division.

I just don't agree that he's scared or something to step-up. He was scheduled to fight Alexander but a ****-ton of weird injuries kept popping up from both camps which ended it. I haven't seen much of his fights, I'll admit though.

Yes, Porter has been looking extremely well against his last two fights: Malignaggi and Alexander.

 

He has a good bit of talent, and probably should've stepped up 5 or 6 years ago. I won't profess to know the reasons he hasn't stepped up, just that he hasn't. I certainly wouldn't say it is because he himself is scared or anything.

 

Have you people actually looked how awful Brook's opposition has been?

It is laughable how bad it is. He is going to get drilled.
