Here's some more facts for you:

    50/50 on the table

    A weight penalty clause

A 24 day cut off request, that included an after fight test.

    Floyd walked away. :good

Floyds camp had a feeling he was on steroids, so why would it be wrong that testing is asked? Its a combat sport, it was for the biggest pay day. Both were going to take the test not just Manny. People make it sound like floyd was off the hook from testing when he was subjecting him self to. Its that simple, no big deal he asked for testing in a combat sport. What is so shocking about testing?

Manny wasn't refusing testing he was refusing Floyd's demands at testing that's the difference !

You're right. This should be your last post on the subject because everyone on this board sees that are basically schilling for Pac with no regard for facts or truth.

Just stop making a fool out of yourself here. Seriously, this is embarrassing.

its random urine/blood testing, OSDT . Its a specific type of drug testing. Why deny it?

Floyd asking for osdt was not what made headlines, it was Pac denying it. Pacquiao wanted to take the random out of random testing. You don't set black out dates on random testing, then its not random.

And how was this some kind of advantage to floyd ? Floyd was subjecting him self as well, so whats the advantage?

Nope, it was clearly the "random" testing Manny refused...Pac made it clear he was scared of needles and wanted 30 days cut off to help him rejuvenate his missing blood and confidence.

Let me try to make this as simple as possible.

Mayweather rejected the 24 day window because the foremost drug cheats (Conte) and experts (Caitlin) are ALL on record as stating that such a window is not sufficient.

    Now stay with me here.

However, in order to MAKE THE FIGHT, Mayweather COMPROMISED to a 14 day window. By all accounts, this is STILL insufficient, but it was enough to a) give Mayweather and his team comfort that it would discourage cheating and b) far enough out from the fight to address Manny's concern about it affecting his performance.

Where you Pac defenders get it twisted is that you don't acknowledge that offer was MORE THAN FAIR in order to make that fight. Hindsight proves it. Pac HIMSELF does not offer his opponents he demands testing from ANY window like that. Pac HIMSELF is not using his own 24 day no blood, you-don't-get-paid-if-caught protocol and contract language for his own fights.

How you continue to argue this is beyond me. The very person you are defending doesn't even attempt to justify that position any longer, yet you cling to it dearly. All this talk of Mayweather's personality or whether he asked previous opponents only reiterates how hypocritical Pac and his defenders are, especially in light of him leveraging the SAME TESTING on others (Rios, JMM V) with the same amount of 'evidence' (suspicion) that was had on him. I just don't understand how a logical/rational human being CAN NOT see the blatant hypocrisy there. I really don't.

    So, the question remains unanswered:

There isn't even a point. The pacfans are just going to come back and post the same stuff in like three pages no matter what the replies are. Blaming Floyd for Manny running from drug testing is crucial to pacfans.

Their entire shtick is predicated on OSDT being an unreasonable request. The second their position changes from that, the entire house of cards comes tumbling down. Think of the mental ramifications of it. This national hero, an inspiration to millions. It means he probably cheated his way to the top. They are so unwavering in their ******ed logic because they have no other choice

Again they weren't refusing testing just Floyd demand at OSDT ...

No one is arguing any advantages , the point made by Arum was that the commissions testing was enough who was Floyd to demand extra testing ?Meaning Manny would have submitted to the current testing procedures ..You guys act like he refused all testing all together and that was not the case .

Floyd wanted the addition of OSDT, so refusing OSDT is refusing testing. Floyd made it clear he did not like the idea of comission as you can see your self, alot of steroid users cheat them selfs and get aways with it.

Also why say"floyds" test. Floyd said it did not have to be usada as long as it is random. Pac still walked away.

They didn't simply ask him to take a test.

They implied he was dirty, and when you try and dictate to a guy with a huge ego, then he's going to dig his heels in.

    The Mayweather's handled things badly.

Again, Floyd had plenty of opportunities to say to the media that he wished all future opponents to be tested.

    But he never said that.

He was only interested in having the bigger share of the purse, until Floyd Snr spoke out.

Now put yourself in Manny's shoes.

He'd never been accused of being dirty before, and nobody else had an issue fighting him. Yet when Floyd started wanting OSDT, Manny was just meant to immediately agree without making any concessions?

It was never going to happen.

    1. By the rules of boxing, Manny didn't have to comply.

    2. If Manny had've agreed to it, it would have given Floyd a huge amount of power in any further negotiations.

I'll say it again, nobody would want to have their camp disrupted, just because of the ramblings of Floyd Snr.

Also, if you look at Floyd Snr's comments and the logic that he used, you could accuse Floyd of also being dirty.

At the end of the day, Manny didn't have to do anything.

Him not agreeing to all of Floyd's testing demands is not an admission of guilt.

    This is what everybody overlooks.

    Manny didn't refuse testing.

In the end, both fighters couldn't reach a compromise, so they went separate ways.

Manny wouldn't agree to Floyd's number of days, and Floyd wouldn't agree to Manny's number of days.

So how anyone comes to the conclusion that Manny ran for the hills, is beyond me.

Manny agreed to be randomly tested at any point, apart from the last 24 days.

Which meant he could be randomly tested at any time during a 7 week period.

He was also willing to give a urine test at any point, and he was also willing to do an after fight blood test.

All of that should have been sufficient, when nobody else had an issue, nobody else was suspicious of him, and Floyd could have wrote into the contract, that traces of anything found, would have meant that Manny didn't receive a single dollar from the fight.

That should have been more than enough.
