I don't know who I'm more upset with. I can't really blame Garcia. If I was getting seven figures for a sparring session, I'd take it. Haymon is who he is.

Stephen Espinoza of Showtime is the real villain here. He takes subscribers' money and basically gives it out as a gift to Al and his fighters. And then Espinoza says he doesn't have control over the opponents. To hell with him.

When Mikey Garcia wouldn't fight the opponent HBO wanted, Garcia sat and Crawford took his place. Either Espinoza is indebted to Haymon for the Mayweather signing, or he just enjoys being a patsy.

Tell Haymon if he thinks this card is so great, put it on an independent PPV. We'll see if he would guarantee the same purses without the largesse of Showtime and CBS. The funny thing is that Showtime is paying more money, but still can't get close to the results that HBO produces. Crawford/Gamboa, neither of whom are necessarily big names, does a great rating. Guerrero, in his return and making $1 million, gets half the viewers. Wonder where all those millions (according to Showtime accountants) who bought Mayweather/Guerrero were for the Ghost's return.

 

Herrera is the real champion, he beat Garcia and Garcia is not fooling anyone..............Salka is a disgrace and shows how much Garcia disrespects the fans....................they should pay the fans to watch that fight. I will skip it myself, I have better things to do than watch such a fake fight.................
