"Plodding" Fres Oquendo should be his new nickname... he hasn't been "fast" in a decade.. and even then.. it was pretty much a misnomer.

Ruslan looks like he just came off a shift at the factory.

 

Easy for Chagaev. Oquendo not really offering anything. He doesn't really have KO power so needs to start being more active here.

At the official weigh in, Ruslan weighed in at 246. Why do they show the spectator 90.9kgs???

 

And people STILL try to say the HW division isn't garbage.

 

looking at this I think Chaggy might actually stop Oquendo

Chagaev is plodding in, feeding Oquendo the right jab up top and retracting back to his eyebrow. Chagaev keeps his guard up the whole time, whether or not he is near Oquendo, elbows at his nips. Oquendo seems to want to exploit this with some body punching, throwing downward feints with his right but always pulling them halfway, nervous about committing to stepping in close.
