PMSL! I do get excited Doctor but ive not lost the plot, these girls are grasping at straws, somehow they now believe that when a person asks you to stop digging up old Green threads that this imply's you cant mention Green on any other threads that are current. :nut

I haven't gone bonkers since a Green fight, boy i do miss that guy fighting as much as i dislike him he did bring some exciting times for this forum.

 

And what does geale have to do to earn your respect in this fight?

 

I respect Geale, i just don't think he can defeat GGG. I picked Barker to defeat him because and i can tell you right now that he wont defeat GGG, if he does then ill eat my words and ill more than likely become a believer of Geales ability's in the ring. I think he is a boring fighter but he has alot of skills, some damage was done when his record was padded with Fenech but he has come a long way since then, his style is more suited to the amateurs than the pros and in all honesty it was a sad day in amateur boxing when he got screwed over and decided he had enough and decided to turn pro, i believe Geale would have gone on to become the first Australian to win a gold medal in the Olympics had he not done so.

And yet he still is Australia's second most successful professional boxer over the last decade, behind Vic.

 

Yes and he's taking on a guy who won 345-5 from the Russian amateur system think he got silver in the Olympics 26 KO's from 29 fights no losses. Some criticise GGG's opponents but he has beaten some durable opponents who have failed to be knocked out by other big punchers with ease. if Geale wins this he should have a tickertape parade and a statue made of him. I am nervous and excited about this fight can't wait.

 

Not sure about the tickertape parade but he'll probably have a statue in Tassie somewhere regardless in future years.

The victory would be right up there....... probably Lionel Rose type proportions

 

I rate Katsidis much higher than Geale, he has fought much tougher opposition and been in much bigger fights.

Geale's paper titles against B grade Euro fighters means jack ****.

 

If by chance geale pulls off the win, how will you handle that situation, your credibility is at an all time low, you said mundane was back with a powerful win over Mosley, then smashed, you argued Sam wouldn't get a rematch against sturm, then he did and won, you also said geale wouldn't fight "the god of war" ggg and look where we are, if geale wins the could completely ruin your lifedeal:deal

 

Agree with this with a but his efforts were great but his best actual wins are probably on a par with Geales IMO.
