Out of curiosity. What made you pick Paulie over Porter?

Gonzalez KO over Mares, made some good money betting that night. Not sure about biggest long shot that's backfired that's not me sounding big headed I get just as much wrong as the next guy but nothing is springing to mind at present.

I was back and forth for awhile, I thought Paulie would outwork him like he did Broner IMO, and that he could stand up to Porter's power. Paulie's always had a pretty good chin.

Same here. I was really counting on Paulie's chin and boxing ability. I was surprised when he couldn't take Porter's punches.

Overall, I'm not a particularly good predictor. I'm not sure about ever but my biggest recent failure was taking Collazo over Khan. It was one of those few times when I picked a true underdog and by the time the fight started I felt really certain about it and it didn't come close to happening. I picked Rubio over Lemieux though. I was proud of that at the time. Lemieux was looking horrifying and had just squashed Camcho Jr to sleep.

I picked Leonard to beat Duran in their 1st fight. -lost

Then, I picked Duran to beat Ray Leonard in their 2nd fight. -lost

Infact, I'm so bad at predicting fights, that I've taken to actually betting against my gut, and it's actually worked pretty well. As you can imagine, it's a bitter-sweet feeling.
