At the point Tyson fought Spinks Haye was better. Holmes was shot, old and very ring rusty I'd say Thompson was better when when Wlad fought him. Golota was finished mentally and physically when he fought Tyson, Ibragimov was better at the time Wlad fought him. Bruno and Peter are about level in my opinion, two sluggish guys with good jab,big power and below average cardio. Povetkin is a better fighter in my opinion than Ruddock,Thomas and Berbick.

Their comp was level. Tyson blew them out quicker because that's really the only way he won being an aggressive pressure fighter. Wlad is long range tactician who picks his spots and is patient so naturally his fights would be longer, he still won almost every round against these fighters.

You're getting really desperate now, trying hard to imply that Tyson cheated his whole career and had he not used his elbows he would never have won a lot of his fights.

Had Tyson not used his elbows, his career record would still be exactly the same :hi:

Spinks was undefeated, had two wins over top 5 ATG Holmes and a destruction job over the dangerous Cooney.

Who did Haye beat? He had already been stopped by past his best and old Thompson. He was dropped hard by supper middle weight - Lolenga Mock.
Had a very hard fight with wasteman Fragomeni.
Retired rather than fight Tyson Fury who most would say is a lesser fighter than Jerry Cooney.
After Spinks we will go onto Homles but first tell me how Haye was better than Spinks?

So it was Dusty Rhodes, and not Cus D'Amato, who taught Tyson everything he knows?

Spink's knees were gone, he was finished. Cooney was a has been drug addict who only sporadically fought performed horribly. Spinks hadn't fought a quality opponent in 3 years when he fought Tyson. Haye was a very fast, slick boxer who was who was not on his last legs like Spinks. "Retired rather than fight Fury":lol::lol: He would have destroyed Fury within 5 rounds but he fu*ked his shoulder up. C'mon you can't be serious about that one. As I said Tyson's and Wlad's comp is level but Wlad has been more consistent and continued to dominate and win much longer than Tyson who imploded within 3.5 years.

Spinks would beat the f**k out of Haye

Actually old Larry Holmes would beat Haye too.

Tysons opposition was head and shoulders above Wladmirs

Douglas, Holyfield and Lewis were leagues above Purrity, Sanders and Brewster

    Tyson > Etienne > Brewster > Wlad :D

Making excuses is a sign of defeat. There is no room for excuses here.

Haye ducked Fury twice and thats the bottom line. He didn't take the risk and had to retire to get out of the fight.
Who did Haye beat that better than Homles and Cooney?.

Spinks also beat Quai who gave prime Holyfied a hard fight over 15 and knocked out Leon Spinks who beat Ali.
Spinks is a HOF and one of the greatest fighters of all time. He was the HW champion when Tyson blew him out in a round.
What did Haye do that makes him a better win than Spinks?

You remind me of what a certain man expressed about certain peoples in that man's book. You are a liar and the bottom sunken of the sewage of humanity.
You manipulated my entire posts, and now intentionally quoted the version of my post since before it was edited.
"If those guys didn't want an elbow" - this is another testimony of what dinovelvet is. Tyson's opponents craved for an elbow.
Also, what I wrote obviously meant that he should have been disqualified in instances when he threw elbows, and not in every instance he was named Mike Tyson or Michael Tyson. It is obvious for every honest reader.

Also I already replied to you about your reply about King, but you keep using it. Typical of your kind.

Nothing ******ed about my claim about his use of high platform boots which you ignored until now and in fact keep ignoring it unless calling it ******ed claim can be considered dealing with my claim.

Bruno had no fouling at all?
Another claim by dinovelvet for the observant readers.

Spinks was also the RING champion and Ali picked Spinks to beat Tyson. Spinks was being trained by none other than Eddie Futch

here is a thread i did on the fight years ago

You can't be serious mate. Fury is a f*cking bum who got put on ***** street by Cunningham. Haye didn't duck him thats just what that goof says. Hayemaker would have taken him out in 5 rounds if he didnt blow out his shoulder.

Yup spinks had a great career but he was done. His knees were wrapped up like a mummy when fought Tyson. He was only in there for one last huge pay check.

He 'retired' to get out of the fight , then announced his comeback a few months later. Fury knocked Cunningham out cold. USS is a better boxer than Haye and was avoided by Haye when he was Cruiserweight champ. USS stopped Huck who was also avoided by Haye.
Haye never did well against any big man. He ducked out and thats all there is too it.

You still can't answer what Haye did that makes him a better win than Spinks. Haye was no better than Dokes and Dokes was barely a top 10 ranker back in the 80's.
You've been stopped in round 1. Is there even any need to continue.
