Somewhat surprising. Hopefully matthysse retires the hypejob broner for good.

 

I'm not sure I'll believe it until it happens but good fight. Of course I want Lucas to win by devastating KO. He better start practicing overhand punches for when Broner tippy-toes backwards in his philly shell. Molina was catching him just as easy as Maidana when he did that, but lacked the power to drop him.

 

why do ***s on this site always act like Broner is afraid to fight the best fighters?

This is a real gateway fight. Lucas can crack so if Broner doesn't shore up that defence we can expect to see him get Peterson-ed.

 

Matthysse gets the KO here, and probably would've even if his countryman hadn't already softened Broner up for it. (cracking both his chin & his swagger/confidence)

I don’t see Lucas getting to him early. I actually thing Broner will look good early.
