BoxingHype Says that Team Matthysse has announced that the fight itself has been made, just waiting for signatures.

    Who ya gotttt .

Im rolling with AB. Broner got raped by a guy who came into the ring at 165+ in his first fight at Welterweight. Coming up from 35 to 47. He's been severely underrated since then.

I think he'll be alright at 140. Matthysse doesnt fight like Maidana. Matthysse is a boxer-puncher, not a swarmer. Also, Broner has a pretty good inside game, and should have good power at 140. And Lucas chin is on suspect watch right now for me.

I wouldn't be surprised if Matthysse KO'd him, but I wouldn't be surprised if Broner outboxed him either. Lucas is not a better boxer than Broner.

    Broner UD 12 Lucas

    Or

    Lucas KO 7 Broner

Im rolling with AB for my official pick though.

I never even thought that was a question. Of course he's the PPV king.

Will be rooting for Lucas but I think Broner's too strong at 140. Maidana did a job on him but lets not forget Broner had him backpedaling in the final rounds.

I got Matthysse, but idk. Looking back on it, Maidana is a harder style than Matthysse for Broner and he's bigger. Matthysse imo is a better fighter though.

I was hoping for Figueroa, but he's on the Kell Brook-Porter undercard

The build up fights between ESB poster's will be even better than the fight itself and the fight should be great.

Tough fight against a guy who had his number in AMs, doesn't mean exposed. In my opinion.

I honestly don't have a pick right now. Maidana was huge against Broner, at 160+. Matthysse is around 150 something, smaller man than Maidana, not as rough, Matthysse is a cleaner fighter. Doesn't do that roughing up stuff Maidana does. This will be a clean punching fight. But from what I saw in the Carlos Molina fight, and the John Molina Jr fight, these two are both there for the taking. The winner will not win an easy fight, and this has the makings of a FOTY candidate. I will analyze more of their fights and come up with a prediction as the weeks go by.

Why didn't you make this poll public?

We could see for ourselves who the real idiots are on this board.

this will be on the undercard of may/maidana right?

good ass fight if u ask me.. ill go with lucas.. but even tho broner is a fool.
i do believe he has skills in the ring. but broner to me isnt very versatile in the ring.
hes a stationary fighter and imo true boxing skills arent there. the main thing broner is lacking is footwork. and broner is crazy if he thinks hes strong enough to keep lucas off him.

broner to me is still one hell of a fighter.. i think he kinda looked for a way out vs maidana when he was floppin around cuz of a headbutt or low blow i forget what it was but i believe he did look for a way out.

n i believe lucas underestimated molina a little bit and he will be full strength vs broner and so will broner if he knew what was good for him.. but broner better be careful in there he can get hurt.
