You all are overrating Lucas i think. I see Broner beating him.

 

I don't think so. Matthysse beat Judah and Alexander on my cards and stopped Ajose, Soto, Peterson, Dallas Jr and Molina.
if anything, I think people are underrating Broner a little bit, but I don't think Broner wins this fight.

I think the best Matthysse is the aggressive one we saw later in the Molina fight and in the Ajose and Peterson fights. He needs to come out from the start of the bell looking to destroy Broner.
A lot of times, Matthysse will be too patient and think too much in there. Then he sorry corner will tell him to box at a distance like vs Judah and early vs Molina.

 

Broner does not have the requisite boxing skills needed to win this fight.

And yet Golovkin is still the more effective fighter.

How is it Golovkin's fault when Martinez, nor Quillin want no parts of him.

Tell who is there to fight at 160-168 that is good besides Andre Ward?

Why are you bringing GGG into this thread? Your post was more irrelevant than mines was because at least my post stayed on the topic concerning the Mayweather card in Sept. 14. You on the other hand had to bring GGG's name into this in a negative light because your black panther feeling are hurt that GGG decimates every brutha that they put in front of him.

Just because someone likes and supports fighters from their own race more, it doesn't make them racist, it just makes them very patriotic. It doesn't mean they're being racist at all. If they hate on fighters because of their race however, then that's racism.

 

I give Broner a lot of credit for taking this fight. Matthysse showed vulnerability in his last fight against Molina. I guess Broner feels he saw something he can exploit. Should be an interesting fight. Broner has the ability to box and stay away. The question is will he and can Matthysse catch him. Too tough to call.

 

I knew there couldnt be a Broner thread without some of his more ******ed fans bringing Golovkin into it, somehow. :conf

Broner better learn how to use his legs. He stands in front of Lucas like he did maidana snd every other guy he's fought he's gonna get his head knocked off. You can't just stand in front of matthysse. Broner thinks maidana hit hard...wait til he feel shots from matthysse.

 

I'd still like to see a Matthysse-Provodnikov fight.
