I don't think Floyd wants to be anywhere near Thurman, and I doubt he wants him on his card where he might steal the show, make a lot of new fans, and stir up demand for a fight with Floyd. After this totally unnecessary fight it will probably be Khan, or who knows maybe Floyd can lure Pauly M. out of retirement for a pitty-pat fest. Wouldn't surprise me.
After the first fight, people were claiming that Floyd lost, and that he would "duck" a rematch. Then he goes with the rematch, and now he should Be fighting Thurman. But if he picked Thurman, you guys would claim Thurman is too green, and that he is ducking maidana. Just like Canelo, everyone, including myself, thought he was ducking Canelo. Them he destroys Canelo and it all of a sudden because Canelo was too young, a hype job, etc etc. I loved the fact that he fought Canelo, and id love him to fight Thurman too. But you guys just flip flop back and forth, depending on who he's fighting. One day, he's ducking Khan, then he mentions khan, and it then becomes a cherry pick, and a duck of someone else. When he beat Cotto, Cotto was washed up. Niw all of a sudden, he's somehow ducking Cotto, the same guy who he cherry picked.
They won't match him with Randell Bailey haymons learned his lesson from lomachenko beating the **** out of Russell, he will match Thurman with a brick layer
I didnt even want the first maidana fight. See no need for Khan. Cotto wouldnt be that bad, but it wouldnt be good. If not Manny, I want young blood to fight floyd. I have never stated anything different.
