It was Dawson who agreed to move down in weight because his division was empty and he lacked any serious options to make serious money. When you're the desperate one, you're going to make desperate decisions, simple.

 

Dawson could have rematched Pascal for more money than he did against Ward. Alvarez agreed to Mayweather for serious money as well; either both deserve a pass or neither do.

 

You try too hard to be objective...consider catch weights and fighters coming off of losses..huge difference.
