You're right, there has been a direct correlation - or at least coincidental dovetailing - between his integration of switch-hitting with his improved defense (and with him stepping up in class the last couple of years).

I personally think he's better overall in the lefty stance at this point, offensively and defensively.

Did you see the crowd at that fight? They were nuts for Crawford. Not everyone has to be brash and arrogant if you can fight and show skills. Mayweather is an exception not a rule.

He kicked Gamboas Ass , no question about it .

But I agree , Don't know why everyone is assuming hes now going to annihilate every top 140 fighter when hes never even fought @ 140 before .

Lets slow it down a little bit ESB .

He would, and it would be easy - but it would be fun while it lasted. Fig is clueless enough defensively that I do see Crawford stopping him in time, but tough enough that it would take a while. In the meantime Fig would get a few licks in on sheer persistence, walking through counters and forcing exchanges.

Same thing I noticed but I think that he will overcome that shortcoming. If he's not thrown in there with some real heavy hitters at 140 he will learn and adjust. He needs to start with Pederson and raise the power level gradually within his next three fights.

...on 2 weeks notice, first time he ever stepped up in class or fought on the big stage.

I think Broner would be a another good test for him. TC has the height and skills plus AB known to be slow on output yet when he does throw it is sweet combos.:bbb

TC has skills but needs to keep on stepping up to the plate before we crown him King of Kings:yep:good
