Yes it is as this fight has no real bearing on where they are now nor is it a new style Fury has to learn to deal with. The first fight showed enough for me, no need for a rematch. If Fury wins it gets his ranking up, i get that and its possibly his easiest way of doing so but thats all it is, a ranking fight against an old opponent.
If he does then he deserves a world title shot no doubt, not saying del bois good because he isnt but hes durable and very hard to stop.
In all fairness fury should have had a title hit already, his done more than arreola,stiverne and now wilder has done and he still hasnt got one
I agree, Fury has been poorly managed really by fat Mick. Fury should have definately had a title shot by now.
I think it'll be a decent fight. I tentatively pick Fury to win, but I wouldn't be surprised if Chisora lands one of his swings and knocks Fury out. It's a good fight for domestic fans and I hope they manage to sell it out. The undercard looked brilliant before Nav Mansouri and Gary Sykes pulled out of their bouts with injuries.
That's defiantly what he will try and do. Can he do it??? we will see. I don't think Chisora will have Tyson out, or outbox him. So at worst I think it will go to Tyson on points.
I don't think his been poorly managed he got ****ed over by haye which ruined his mandatory fight with pulev and the WBC seem hellbent in making sure that an American gets there belt so he got shafted by them
He turned down an eliminator. He's fought once in 14 months. I understand the circumstances but myself and others predicted immediately on the original announcement that Haye would pull out ... and neither time did Fury's team have a backup plan to keep him active. The interesting this about this fight is there has been, basically, zero build-up or promotion that has generated any interest. You can't do it all with an announcement press conference and a few quips (or likely a scripted 'near-fight') at the weigh-in. It's "how not to promote a fight" 101.
I can't see anything other than a Fury points victory, might have a flutter on it if the odds are decent enough.
There's not many fighters that have a back up plan if an opponent pulls out And Hayes back again by the sounds of it, he should be blackballed from the boxing industry
