Yeah, I was being sarcastic since another poster said Ike had never exhibited his lunacy until he was incarcerated for raping the call girl.

Fact is every time he got the slightest bit a peace in his life, he went deep. He couldnt handle life outside the ring, and I'd wager he'll be right back in prison in the next 5 yrs for strangling a a female sports reporter.:think

His inspiration to start boxing came when he saw Douglas TKO Tyson.....

Also, he started acting very funny and constantly demanding that people address him as 'President'

    the guy was a looney.

Him vs Golota would have been epic. The fight would have been called 'Bloodbath'

    Very interesting :good

So you know Ike and some of his stories. Then you can tell us about whom did he sparred and how these sparrings went? I've read that Ike sparred another promising HW Kirk Johnson and Johnson put him down, is it true? Curtis Cokes trained both guys.

Unfortunately, Johnson also was an underachiever because later in career he became fat and out-of-shape. But his brutal KO's of Savarese and Maskaev, as well as wins over Larry Donald and Dannel Nicholson vere quite good. He blew his chances vs Ruiz because of low blows.:-(

Vitali is not one of the greatest Heavyweight of all time. A 20 fight novice in Ike has a better record than Vitali did in 47 fights. This is not just an opinion, its a fact. Ike knocked out Byrd in 5 rounds, Vitali quit against Byrd after nine.

You called Ike overrated and then put Vitali as one of the greatest heavyweight of all time. I doubt anyone considers Ike one of the greatest heavyweight of all time. And, you want to talk about overrated.

Vitali is a 3x world champion, with 12 title defenses. Yeah he's not one of the greats, but mentally ill Ike who only beat Tua, Byrd and never won a world title is "underrated" :patsch

Funny how the same people who come up with these conspiracy theories about Ike being "framed" and losing it because of medication, are the same ones who bash the Klitschkos are call them frauds and horrible people. Tell Zoran Vujecic that Wlad is a horrible guy, I'm sure he'd agree...

Correction Vitali is a 3 time titlist not champion. Victory of Tua and Byrd far outways those 12 title defenses against nobodies .
Vitali's biggest victory is Sam Peter for goodness sake.
In your mind beating Peter somehow puts vitali amongst the all time greats and one of the greatest heavyweight of all time.
Again you want to talk about people overrating Ike. Man you need to get real.

The knife incident was pure fantasy same as the claim Ike thought Eisenhower was president when he arrived here from Nigeria

These videos brought back some great memories for me. Ike really was something wasn't he. Great to see my buddies Curtis Cokes & Jay Wilson
Ikes trainers plus Emmett Lazer Linton in the ring listening in to Larry Merchants interview. Plus I got to see myself at ringside a few times I was a lot younger then
In my opinion the ONLY man to really challenge Ike was Lennox Lewis. That would have been the fight of the century

You my friend do not have a clue about Ike Ibeabuchi or boxing as a whole.
If you did you'd know that Ike would destroy both Klitschko bros with no problem
