    1. c/w was originally contracted at 144 lbs until thefjr decided to cheat macne of 2 more lbs:
    thefjr: 147>>146 lbs
    macne: 135>>144lbs

    2. if the fight pushes through, pac should cheat algeri and come at 146 and still better than the stunt theftjr pulled.
    pac: 147>>144 lbs
    algeri: 140>>144 lbs

bottom line is, algieri and pac will be almost identical in weight on fight night.

it won't be like floyd-jmm where jmm was outweighed by at least 10 pounds.

How does Mayweather vs Marquez catchweight justify Pacquiao fighting Algieri at 144?

    Well. Dinamita is an HOF.
    Algieri is a club fighter.

Both cachweight suck, but this one is definitely worse.

i wouldn't be surprised if algieri will be bigger/heavier than pac on fight night.

it won't be like floyd-jmm where jmm was outweighed by at least 10 pounds.

    Abso-Fvcking-Lutely.

Provo was a STEP UP for him. if Provo is your STEP UP, then you're a club fighter.

    10lbs??

For that to have occurred Mayweather would have had to weigh about 5-6 lbs more than hes ever weighed in a ring in his life.

You guys always bring Floyd up to justify Pacquiao's actions instead of just admitting that the 144 lbs catchweight is ridiculous. I give Imperial1 credit for calling it for what it is. You're so loyal to your countryman that you won't.

And for the record, both catchweights are garbage. I never give Floyd credit for his win over Marquez.

Wrong again. Dinamita was coming into the ring 145 fighting at 135.

Floyd has never entered the ring above 150.

His body was better taken care of, and he had been more filled out at the weight.

Realistically. Dinamita came in the ring at 147. Floyd around 150.

If it was 10 pounds or FIFTEEN, as some of you have said that would put Floyd at 155+ coming into the ring. And that isn't realistic :verysad

Provodnikov is good, not great, he's been overrated. Overrated, like damn near every fighter with power is.

    But I wouldn't consider him a "nobody".
