Sure is when Mayweather has fought everybody before Pac and they were actually in better condition/on top. Hatton was p4p, Mosley was WW king, DLH was best 154, Cotto was 4 years off the bricks no catch weight

    Great post.

Fans and media are hyper sensitive about Mayweather opponents because he's set the bar so high with his skill level, virtually everyone out there is a squash match FOR HIM.

But for Pacman, those are all acceptable fights. You can only fight the best in your division and that's what Floyd does. Manny elected to avoid the best when he resigned with Rob Arum, now we got this poor matchup.

I don't know about "Die-Hard", but I used to be a huge fan of both Pacquiao and Mayweather.

But I don't defend either of them in this whole debacle. They are both to blame and I don't really care who deserves more blame.

i don't know why people think everyone who disagrees with him, hates him.

I've probably bought more Pac PPV's than most of his fans.

I like him. But his spinelessness, and hypocrisy is annoying. I'm slowly falling back .

I come on here and side with FLoyd fans because Pac fans are literally the most daft fanbase in the boxing world.

So De La Hoya at 147 is better than 154?
Cotto at 145 is better than 154?
He didn't fight Mosley when he knocked out Margarito, he chose the guy that got knocked out :patsch
Never had a convincing win against Marquez and in 2012 there was finally a definite victory (for the other guy).
I guess that messed up Margarito he fought was better than no Margarito at all.
Hatton once he starts going down hill.

Pacquiao has never fought anyone when they're doing good, except for Bradley.

I'm in the EXACT same boat. I even bought Pacquiao-Bradley II. I don't mind Pac, his mistakes are forgiven by me, same with Floyd. What I don't like are his fans, they're just weird.

There's really no explanation for it other then the obvious. Floyd has always been the better fighter between the two.

PAC deserves a stay busy fight.

Remember, Floyd signed immediately for a Maidana
Rematch while PAC still had an open schedule

And Floyd already had his dates set, yet Pacquiao never challenged him. He's set for next year too. Floyd called, it's Pac's turn.

Provodnikov beat the **** out of Bradley, and nearly beat Alvarado to death, then as I predicted he was beaten by Algieri, that was a legit win and makes him a legit guy. He beat one of the most feared men in the sport at the moment, and most hyped, Algieri has a far better win than Rios' loss to Mike and Bradley's beatdown of ancient Casamayor, that they were coming off of before their Pac fights.

Most of the casuals who buy PPV's had no idea who Guerrero, Ortiz, or Maidana were, but the PPV's were bought because Mayweather was fighting them, and he sells PPV's. Bob knows this and hopes he can use this kids good looks and marketability to sell to the general public making him the next great white hype, which he very well could live up to.
No casual fans knew who Bradley and Rios were either, its just because Algieri is unknown to most boxing fans that this is so "outrageous" to us, now we are in the position the most casuals are in, all of the time.

Could Pacquiao have a better opponent, yes a Golden Boy guy that evidently Bob isn't ready for yet, its not Pac's fault its Bob.
