Lucas was robbed against Beyer true and in the poll I made it was his best win but c,mon Beyer was a p**sweak champion and Green lost at least the first 3 rounds against Lucas who was hardly flash credit to Green for that. I used to like Green pre retirement but the WBC was the weakest SMW division at the time.
Sturm is better than Lucas or Beyer. I love Kats but IMO Chavez was never the same andbarely active after that guy he fought died on the Peden-Barerra U/C. Good win nonetheless but not much better than Sturm if at all.

Ahahaha you say Chavez was past his best, Sturm was well past his best when Geale got a gift against him  IMO Beyer and Sturm are about the same level. Eric Lucas is far more respected than the likes of coward Sturm & Bum Sylvester

The guys an idiot with no sarcasm detector I only said it was his old man because he excused Green fighting Siaca and chasing Mundine because he wanted revenge.:patsch
And I only called him Ralph the dog because he obviously posts under the influence.

Full credit to GGG. He is a beast who looks unstoppable for the foreseeable future.

Geale definitely made him miss lot, and he didn't take backward step but it was obvious GGG's power was going to be the difference. As a skilful boxer GGG is no better than lots of fighters but what separates him is his massive power, which is why he may continue to be avoided. I do believe that Soliman will fight him, and it will be a messy fight that GGG will win by knockout, or Cotto who will see Sam as an easy win. Soliman's eyeing retirement and will take the cash over a win IMO.

I think Soliman would be game enough to tackle GGG regardless. Because that is just how he is. But when you are 40 and looking for a big payday and a chance at a huge legacy to boot he would be first in the queue, and it might be a very short queue after todays result :yep

I agree. I think he'd fight anyone but the bigger the purse the better! Daniel's a good fighter and no bum so the fact he was knocked out is going to make it hard for GGG to get opponents. The only upside for him is Daniel showed he can be hit and made miss ... unfortunately not many can box AND bang in the middleweight division.

Once GGG has received a list of nos from the rest of the contenders I wouldn't be at all surprized to see Soliman get the call and grab it with both hands.

I knew Geales would get destroyed by Golovkin. Not surprising at all. Geales is a good boxer but his pitter patter volume style + his average power/chin at the elite level is simply not enough to trouble a fighter Like Golovkin who looks something special. As someone said awhile ago, it may have been Josey I'm not sure, Geales is the Australian version of the UK's Darren Barker. A decent boxer in this era who can win a belt but someone who certainly won't reign for long.
