I look forward to the fight. My prediction really is based on a gamble as wilder has never proven himself against good opposition. His chin of course if a major doubt. This will be a fight were we see what he is all about.

I thought this was supposed to be a done deal when Stiverne beat Chris in the rematch?

There's been no news about discussions for the fight.

I have a feeling it's NOT going to happen until sometime well into 2015. When Don King has a fighter with a world title he likes to hang onto it for as long as possible without fighting (remember Guillermo Jones didn't defend for two years).

Wilder should go for the WBA belt instead (or there could be a fight with the winner of Jennings-Perez for an interim WBC title).

I assume King only gets paid when his boxers fight. I don't get why so many of them are so inactive.

Don King is sending his new HWCotW:yep around the globe right now trying to build him up some.

When he fights Wilder, the glass will shatter and Stiverne will be DKs new PPV attraction.

Im certain DK will sign Stiverne to HBO, just cuz he don't like Al Haymon.

He's too sneaky according to the King.:D

He's age 80 and very rich, so he likely doesn't need any more money.

Wilder - with his fraudulent record and super-fragile glass jaw - doesn't even deserve a shot at Stiverne.

The reason the fight isn't happening is because Wilder's management knows what would happen, and they'd rather cash out their fraud for big bucks against Klitschko. :yep

It was Bermane who last said he wants Wilder and he's the champion. I would expect Wilder to show more interest.

Wilder has been saying he wants the fight, but during the past month Don King and Bermane Stiverne have become silent.

I think King and Stiverne will avoid Wilder as long as possible.

    No reason they should.

If you aks 10 people here on the board what the eventual result would be, 8 or 9 would answer with a Stiverne by KO win.
I guess if one guy avoids it, it's Wilder himself.
