canelo requested the 155lb 'catchweight', so why does lara look so....

Canelo looked worse. His lips were dry and he was struggling to breathe during the interview. Lara looked fine.

 

Canelo needs to go up to 160. He's not a little boy anymore. Lara looked shaky also. This is going to be a shitfest fight. I wouldn't pay $5 to watch a PPV.

No you dont understand. This is the beginning stages of the built up excuses for Floyd not to fight Lara after he beats Canelo. This is getting the "he`s too big for Floyd" excuse in nice and early.

 

Okay. I dont know what is going on. I watched the weigh ins and thought Canelo looked the most drained. Lara looked like he cut a lot of weight too. But Canelo was struggling in the interview. Lara sounded normal.

The **** about weight draining and catchweights on this forum is tiresome beyond belief.

Two guys negotiated a fight. They both agreed on a weight limit - the weight limit they agreed upon is beyond irrelevant, the target is the same for both fighters. If someone can't make that weight, they shouldn't and can't agree to it.

They both made weight. Who cares who had to kill themselves more to make it?

 

You cannot dictate your balls or your health though.
