GBP doesn't really need Floyd, they'll work with him because it's smart money, but GBP is the most prestigeous Promotional Comapny and will continue to sign and promote boxing as it has always done.

    LOL!

    Don't you read the news?
Haven't you watched one or more of ODLH's press conferences where he is specifically asked about which boxers have GBP contracts and which don't.
Haven't you seen/heard Oscar scratch his head and say, let me get back to you on that. :yep
    Guess what.
GBP USED to be a presitigious Promotional company and they USED to have a great CEO who grew the business into a powerhouse.

Distractors who diss Schaefer DKSAB and fail to understand that the number 1 asset of a promotional company is relationships.
Now that Schaefer is gone GBP no longer has the relationships they used to have. Oscar has never been a hands on component of the company. He is just a figurehead.

GBP really NEEDS Mayweather because they need some serious cash flow to hire another top CEO candidate to take Schaefer's place.
If you think that Oscar can fill in for and do what Schaefer did, then I'd strongly suggest you put down the Meth pipe. :yep

Sometimes you say that Floyd makes so much that GBP takes losses when Mayweather fights, now you're saying GBP needs Mayweather for cash flow....? U dumb.

GBP is a promotional company. They have many many shows throughout the year that do not involve Mayweather.

GBP will continue to sign fighters, and continue to work with all the sports networks including Showtime boxing.

GBP is still the most prestigeous boxing promotional company.

    Deal with it.

I guess you don't read very well because you've never read anything by me that spoke about GBP's financial gains & loses.
GBP is a private held company. It's impossible for an outsider to truly understand exactly how much money they've made/loss.

There is no doubt that the MP/GBP relationship is GBP's biggest revenue generator. ~20% of $30M trumps ~20% of $1M everyday.
One Mayweather event yields as much for GBP as 6-10 of their average events.

GBP still has a good brand, although badly tarnished by the Golden Boy himself and his recent publicized activities.
still, there is not much GBP can do against the upcoming Al Haymon/Mayweather/??? express about to seriously interrupt GBP's flow.

All GBP can do is to get a new competent CEO ASAP! Cause ODLH cannot run a business himself.

They'll float by themselves, but as long as Floyd is getting 800k-2.2mill PPVs, they'll thrive. That's why Oscar was very enthusiastic about working with Floyd. It's about the money.

Agreed. My point simply being that is is ridiculous to think GBP needs Haymon. On the contrary, Haymon needs a big-time promoter since he has problems with the two other major boxing promotrers, it leaves him almost no other choice but to have GBP promote his fighters.

    LOL.
People make a HUGE thing about a Promotional license.
They must have forgotten that Al Haymon was the première music promoters and promoted concerts in every state of the USA and abroad.
LOL. Mike Tyson has a promoters license.
If Al Haymon needed a license so badly he could team with Tyson, get a license AND Mike Tyson's name brand.

Look. If 50 cents can get a promoters licence then anyone with the desire and some spare change can.

Regardless of your feelings on Bob there are a lot of fighters he promotes I want to see fight against good opponents say from the golden boy stable for example. I don't like Bob but Oscar and co. Still need him and he needs them. I can't say it any simpler than that. Perhaps I can say it slower for you?

And cheers for the laugh re. don king. Don is desperate to work with anyone operating on that level these days.

Why wouldn't GBP pimp out mayweather? GBP is stealing floyds money because they know he can't deal with Arum. Oscar is using this to his advantage and making a killing off him. Oscar is making ellebre and floyd look like fools.:rofl

Mayweather is the world's highest paid athlete. You think greedy Arum doesn't have a watering mouth for a piece of that $30M/fight? yeah, he looks like a fool. :patsch

Because he's obviously managing all the big name fighters in Golden Boy.

Arum is old news. Oscar's fortune makes Mayweather look like he's on welfare.
