Steve Kim: "Forgot to mention this, but George Groves is going up to Big Bear this week to spar GGG..."

He was in Big Bear this past weekend nuthugging GGG, so I don't think he tells lies as shoe says above.

    Thanks.:good

I'm curious about this Groves announcement now though - a mid Sept. fight would make it an odd time to be taking on sparring sessions and a bit early to be starting camp. Let's see what other news we get about this one.

I still think Groves would be decent prep for a Geale bout as well as being a good potential opponent for looking over.

i didn't say anyone lied, numbnuts. i said imo, bull****. someone could be mistaken or a change of plans OR a lie. or groves just might take his jet-lagged ass off the plane in a couple days and spar triple G in big bear, while having a fight coming in september.

Yeah, and actually it just says that Sauerland are gonna announce his opponent, not that there's gonna be a presser tomorrow - anyways, I guess we just gotta wait'n'see.

Wonder who they've got for Groves?

You may be right as something is out of the equation. At least it seems akward for him to spar GGG too early before Sept fight, something doesn't add up. Let's see...

Why were you acting like planes dont exist? If Groves was going to spar GGG he just needed a plane ticket.

Oscar DeLa Hoya wasn't a hype, but GGG really is a hype of the 1st order.

    GGG is the new Bute.

GGG is overrated. He ain't that ****ing good. No defence, average hand speed is a knockout waiting to happen.
