I hope Sky's feed goes again in the middle of one of the main fights.

Worth noting, all of the following looked a bit poor against Navarette and even dropped a couple of rounds to him:

    Jorge Linares
    Vic Terrazas
    Mikey Garcia
    Arash Usmanee
Viorel Simion (SD, arguably robbery, Simion down twice)
    Pier Cote

He is very good at his job, which is "keeping prospects and fringe contenders honest and showing where they're flawed and needing improvement". :thumbsup

That's fair enough. I wasn't so much bored with the fight as I was arguing the pointlessness of the fight in the first place. It's not as if Smith was in need of a stay busy fight or that the fight in any way improved his sitting with the WBC. It just seemed a bit redundant and only really served to delay the more interesting fights. Not even sure the Scousers will be that enthralled by the fight.

The referee scored the contest 78-75 to Smith.

Agreed, step up for Fielding so should be interesting to see how he copes.

WAR ALCOBA! He'll likely be at a considerable weight disadvantage in the ring against that fat fuc.k Fielding.

Mtagwa was a beast in his day, ignoring his record, until Gonzalez ruined him.

I was sitting ringside when he fought Lopez, and not only thought Rogers was unlucky not to get the nod, but could see the body language and look in JuanMa's eyes up close - he was ready to go at many points that night - scared witless, on fumes, and on the verge of getting KTFO.

I almost wonder if Gallagher was troubled by something he saw in the gym and decided kinks needed to be worked out and thus summoned in a 'specialist'. :think

This is for a minor title claimed by Groves last May against this exact same Uruguayan opponent.

Groves stopped him in five. Alcoba hasn't fought since.
